A long time ago, I watched an interview of one of the greatest classical guitarists of all time, Andres Segovia. He was like 90 years old, and he said that he practiced for 3 hours a day, even at his advanced age. When asked why he still practiced so much, his response? “One day I might get good”
Holy fuckballs, the man was a living god (he passed away in 1987) and his playing was always clear, fluid, and just impressive.
