Muskian Delish...

I posted on this two days ago, but then the revelation of the raid on Twitter in France, and the implications sunk in for me, and the irony is delish...

Musk is going to go through some things...

On Wednesday, I posted a back looking post on the oddness (yet totally in character) of Elon Musk merging the cash hemorrhaging xAI that also housed that cesspit of sleaze that is Twitter. At the time, I posited that it was a way to deal with some ugly stepchildren before the SpaceX IPO expected later this year...

Anyhow, I had missed that on Tuesday morning, February 3, the day after this impulsive merge of those loose ends into SpaceX, France had raided Twitter's local offices[1].

French prosecutors raided the offices of social media platform X on Tuesday as part of a preliminary investigation into allegations that include spreading child sexual abuse images and deepfakes. They have also summoned billionaire owner Elon Musk for questioning.

LOL. And they have demanded that Musk appear in court on April 20. IYKYK.[2]

Grok, which was built by xAI and is available through X, sparked global outrage last month after it pumped out a torrent of sexualized nonconsensual deepfake images in response to requests from X users.

The French investigation was opened in January last year by the prosecutors’ cybercrime unit, the Paris prosecutors’ office said in a statement. It’s looking into alleged “complicity” in possessing and spreading pornographic images of minors, sexually explicit deepfakes, denial of crimes against humanity and manipulation of an automated data processing system as part of an organized group, among other charges.

So, it wasn't only the tidal wave of non-consensual deep-fake porn after Twitter gifted that capability on Christmas Eve 2025.

Still, the timing is delish. Because instead of taking an entity that is literally burning dump-truck loads of cash every month, they are now able to go after SpaceX, the hope for Musk's future (especially since he just shifted $2B from Tesla to this new entity - oops).

Alas, Musk has enough money to not be significantly hurt by this, but it is expected that a lot of the other European countries are going to also charge – I guess – SpaceX. This might actually tarnish Musk as much or more than his being littered throughout the latest Epstein files drop.
