Hmmm, so hot war?
Gee, so much for America First and no more wars. This will not go well.

I was told, repeatedly, during the 2024 campaign that people wanted to pull the lever for Trump because he would keep the US out of foreign entanglements.
I always thought that was complete and utter bullshit, and alas, from the bunker-busters he ordered dropped on the suspected nuclear sites in Iran, to the fishing boats that he's vaporized in the carribean, this was always some weapon's grade copium from the MAGA hordes.
Now that he's taking his victory lap for the "Peace" in Gaza [1], he's itching to start the redevelopment of Trump Gaza:

but there's one fly in thge ointment. There isn't really "peace", but a ceasefire, and one that is tenuous at best.
Never one to have any patience (and frankly, knowing how much Bibi needs to keep the conflict going to prevent his going to prison, it will not be long before he caves to his ultra-right wing and begin the bombing again) Trump opened his pie hole and committed to disarming Hamas.
From the WaPo (gifted link):
President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the United States could step in to disarm Hamas — “quickly and perhaps violently” — if the organization did not do so itself, a potential vulnerability in a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement that has tentatively brought an end to two years of war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
Yeah, that will go well.
“Everyone says, ‘Oh, well, they won’t disarm.’ They will disarm,” Trump said Tuesday at a White House event with Argentine President Javier Milei. “And I spoke to Hamas and I said, ‘You’re going to disarm, right?’ ‘Yes, sir, we’re going to disarm.’ That’s what they told me. They will disarm or we will disarm them. Got it?”
Oh, and Javier Milei, who is getting a $20B lifeline for fucking up the Argentinian economy is suckling at Trump's teat? What a world we live in...
Anyhow, read it, and if you are MAGA, you can suck it.
1 - It is not a peace, it is a negotiated ceasefire, and yes Trump did kick Bibi in the ass to make it happen. But a peace, it ain't.
