A find by a reader, Joanne Shaw Taylor will reach into your soul and grab all the feels. Her musicality, sultry voice and proficiency will knock your socks off.
Today's post comes from a suggestion by a long time reader (Thanks MaryAnne Steinert) who told me about this blues-y artist from the UK that she first saw on PBS, and then was blessed to see live locally.
The artist is Joanne Shaw Taylor, and I have got to say that I was totally, 100% floored. The smoky sultry voice, the killer chops, and just a killer vibe across the board.
I watched a few vids on YT, including one with Joe Bonamassa playing backup, and they all just floored me.

Naturally, she has a website where you can buy albums and merch. It looks like in October she's doing a swing through Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Makes me wish I lived in Asheville NC...
