Music: That which shall not be played, on Piano
Today's find, Gamzada teases us with the forbidden song, the one that will get you ejected from the music store. On piano. Played beautifully.

Introducing the "Music" sub-newsletter in style with the vibes of Gamazada.
First the sub-newsletter. I have created a second newsletter. It should have a different email address (geoff+music@sweatyspice.com) so if you want to filter it to the trash, so be it. [1]
Also, if you go to your account settings, you can turn this newsletter off there, and thus not need to set the mail filter. I hope this is a welcome change.
On to the main event - Gamazada
Gamazada is clearly someone who took to their early piano lessons with a zeal. I discovered her playing a beat up old studio upright piano that reminded me of the POS's that were in the music rooms in my grade school. Well worn, not well finished. You know, used.
And she did a phenomenal playthrough of the Animals' staple "House of the Rising Sun". It was magnificent.
Of course, once you click on and watch an artist's video, the algorithm starts tossing in more of them to see if it was a one-off.
And you know me by now, if it is a cover of that Led Zep song that will get your ass kicked out of a music store, I am gonna mash that play button like a dope fiend chasing the dragon, and holy cow was this the right thing to do.
The video starts with her furtively walking down the stairs in her gym socks, almost as if she knows that this is the forbidden song. Slinking into a candle lit sub basement for the illicit pleasures.
And then? WOW.
1 - I won't be offended, I promise! I know some people don't groove my vibe.
