Since I am addicted to my growing collection of guitars, and the things I plug them into to make noise, I am creating this side channel to share with those who are interested without bombarding the general readership. Welcome to the insanity!
When I was on Substack, as my audience grew, I would notice that when I wrote about my guitars, or effects, or anything related to wires/wood and electronics would immediately result in a handful of people who unsubscribed.
I got the message, and I stopped posting about my guitars, when I got a new one, when I modified them (changing pickups on my first Harley Benton was a particularly unpopular post) and I didn't get those ego busting bevvy of unsubscribe notifications.
But I still want to write about my passion.
So, I am starting this "sub" newsletter "Guitars and Gear", just to talk shop about my gear. By default, you are not subscribed to this newsletter. To get these in your inbox, go to "https://sweatyspice.com/" and log in. From there, you will see a button in the upper left corner titled "Account", and from there select "Manage Emails". You will see this:
Click the slider and voila, you will get these emails.
They won't be very frequent, maybe 2-3 times a month, but I do know that this is a sub-genre that will not be super popular. If you do subscribe, welcome to the insanity of GAS, or Gear Acquisition Syndrome!
